Peanut butter and rat sandwich anyone?

An interesting fact that I was very surprised to find out is that the FDA actually approves small amounts of rodent hair, and insect parts in peanut butter. That's not something I would look forward to finding in my next PB&J sandwich. There is an average of about 1 rodent hair and 30 insect parts in every 100 grams of peanut butter you buy. It is also said that on average we eat from 1 to 2 pounds of insects each year, without even knowing it.
